How we resolve warranty claims

If your device develops a covered defect during the warranty period, we will assess the claim and provide a remedy under this warranty. Depending on the issue, we may:

  • repair the device;
  • replace the defective part;
  • replace the device;
  • provide another remedy required by applicable law.

For clear covered defects, we may send a replacement without requiring the original unit back.

For other claims, we may need to inspect the device first. If a return is required for a valid warranty claim, we will provide return instructions and cover reasonable return shipping costs.

Faults outside the 12-month warranty period

Your rights may continue after this 12-month limited warranty ends.

If your device has a problem outside the warranty period, contact us. We will assess whether a remedy is required under applicable consumer law.

Making a claim

To make a warranty claim, contact us at support@rubaris.com with:

  • your order number;
  • your full name;
  • delivery address;
  • a description of the issue;
  • photos or a short video showing the fault;
  • any relevant details about when the issue started.

We may ask reasonable questions to assess the claim, including how the device was used, stored, powered and maintained.

Warranty claim costs

There is no charge to make a valid warranty claim.

For valid covered defects, we cover reasonable return shipping costs where a return is required.

If we ask you to pay an approved return shipping cost upfront, we will reimburse the reasonable cost after we confirm the claim is valid and receive proof of payment.

If the device is returned and no covered defect is found, or the issue was caused by misuse, unauthorised modification, excluded damage or use outside this warranty, we may reject the warranty claim and may ask you to cover return shipping costs where permitted by law.

Your legal rights

This warranty is in addition to your statutory rights.

In Australia, products come with consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.

In the European Union, consumers have a minimum 2-year legal guarantee for faulty goods or goods that do not work as advertised.

In the United Kingdom, consumers have legal rights if goods are faulty, not as described, or do not do what they are supposed to do.

If there is any conflict between this warranty and rights that cannot legally be excluded, those legal rights apply.

Australian Consumer Law notice

For Australian customers, this warranty against defects must be read together with the following mandatory wording required under the Australian Consumer Law:

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
